A Current Affair: The Lion, the Witch, and the Audacity of this Bitch
Author’s Note: I really wanted to avoid writing this before finishing the Pundit Shinoy Saga. So, SPOILER ALERT!
I am going to assume a lot of things, one of them being that most of you have caught up on the drama that ensued on the Instagram post asking for accountability from a certain celebrity** who would do anything unimaginable to most but won’t say, “I am sorry for my behaviour, but I can’t help it that I am a casteist swine.”. So here we go, the story of how I asked my abusive oppressor for accountability and got gaslit in doing so.
A few hours after posting this, the Jaan regiment sent their first soldier, their newest recruit “Haani” who decided to throw some false allegations to try and derail the topic. Trigger Warning for those who imagine the person speaking when they read their text, you are going to imagine Haani’s voice.
Haani Jaan starts by commenting on the wrong post on behalf of Kabir Singh. To which I had to call them to the other post by asking in the caption, just so I can keep everything on the topic. After finding the correct post Haani Jaan decides to at least admit for a change that they are doing something wrong and reiterates their initial question.
This comment by Haani Jaan put me in a moral turmoil, I could not for the life of me figure out what kind of predator they mean, do they want to ask how many political predators are behind this page, do they want to ask how many ideological predators are behind this page, which kind of predator could this Jaan mean.
If history tells us anything it is that a Jaan might just use a word loosely without even explaining the underlying context. Pundit Shinoy did use this technique extensively with their “grooming” claims, which in reply to the tweet, turned out to be “Ideological Brainwashing” of Pundit Shinoy and Inayat Jaan.
Before Pundit Shinoy decided to clarify what type of “grooming” and the real “victims” of the “grooming”. The Jaans were consistently going around multiple social media platforms and labelling a savarna queer a “groomer” and the victim being the said savarna queer’s close friend, who was constantly denying that any grooming took place.
All this while, because of the Jaan’s intentional use of the word grooming, and not even clarifying what happened, lead the majority of the people on clubhouse to assume something absolutely horrendous, partly because the Jaans also made sure to make memes and constantly compare the accused to the likes of Milind, Leo, Charlie Sheen, and Harvey Weinstein. I am not sure what kind of “Ideological Grooming” these people did to be compared to the kind of “grooming” Shinoy and Inayat faced.
At this point, they were pretty much making a mockery of actual victims of sexual grooming by using it as a bullying technique to oppress the voice of someone they did not like on a personal level.
I would reiterate and say this again, Vandana, Shinoy, Inayat and various side characters, you are as transphobic as the GOP, They are intentionally using a transphobic narrative to spread hate, and so are you no matter how many stories you post full of sentences that contradict each other.
Shinoy and Inayat are not victims of “grooming”, you are the people appropriating the real victims of such crimes to further your narrative to de-platform someone you hate, which can be put in other words as, SPREADING PROPAGANDA, you daft propagandist.
Based on your definition of the crime that has happened to you, didn’t Vandana “groom” you two to hate Billu as well? Isn’t the whole lot of Jaan radicalised to a point where all their actions are meant to cause harm and come from a place of malicious intent?
Even in the story Pundit Shinoy posted, they went on to clarify how they were not a victim of sexual grooming but ideological radicalisation and then circled back to their internalised bio-essential urge to invoke Harvey Weinstein again to confuse people.
So after analysing the behaviour of the Jaans around throwing allegations, I decided to reply with something that would match the question on par. So I just decided to reply “384” to Haani Jaan’s enquiry. Then Haani Jaan decided to remove the comment after a day of it just sitting there.
384 : a random number, almost as random as the claim.
After a few hours, Haani Jaan Decided to give it another go by doing some whataboutery. By trying to ask me to respond about Jai’s actions on the platform.
After a while, Jai, themself decided to add to the conversation, but then it became about me sending problematic shit to 20-year-olds. Because remember kids, WWHD, What Would Haani Do? Whenever you are in doubt ask yourself WWHD and then just throw one random allegation in the air and hope it sticks.
After that I thought, ah some peace, at last, I don’t have to listen to a dislodged Haani voice every two minutes.
Haani Jaan retreated to their base camp and told Major Kabir of what has happened. Major Kabir was not taking any of this, they freshly claimed trauma on behalf of their relatives and they are not going to let it go to waste, not after making sure it goes on a burner account.
Major Kabir entered the battlefield, looking glorious as always, One foot wearing Pundit Shinoys tongue other wearing Haani.

At this point, I realised where Kabir Singh wants to go with this, and why, so it's important to me now, that I clarify why Vandana would use this as a “free pass” for their casteist sins.
Context Time
Last year around September, when the great reshuffle of clubhouse hierarchy was happening. Vandana got the centre stage thanks to the intellectual gatekeepers of clubhouse, especially Madhurima. At this point, I had the benefit of being in multiple circles at once and getting to observe every point of view, and as far as I can remember Vandana just had a grudge list, people they want gone because they did not take kindly to their broken logic and theories in the early months of clubhouse.
During those early days, Vandana wanted to make it into the big leagues where Pundit Shinoy was. Which meant they needed to also enter the Ambedkarite circles, in their attempts to do so, they made it abundantly clear how savarna they are and how blind they are to the privilege they have, so no one wanted them to represent the Ambedkarite movement in any capacity.
On top of that during the great reshuffle, Kabir Singh ended up taking centre stage, fighting all the old gatekeepers of clubhouse. In their quest for absolute power Major Kabir ended up picking fights with people over Twitter, an App they claim they never use. In one of these exchanges, some screenshots of Major Kabir made it to the limelight.
In all fairness, those screenshots were barely anything to lose sleep over but for some reason, a few massive egos were hurt, and it turned into a rivalry, which is still going on strong.
So in this new era of clubhouse, Major Kabir wanted to make sure no one can speak against them or take the limelight away from them. So they started a rath yatra on clubhouse, where they would all go to every room and sit and take notes to call out people later.
Eventually, this beautiful bonding activity ended up coming to the Ambedkarite rooms, most of the time peaceful reading rooms. They started showing up there with random offensive photos as display pictures. Then it turned into scheduling rooms at the same time as our reading rooms, keeping snarky comments about people as titles, trying to discredit Dalit activists in their circles for a personal grudge.
In the end, all of this boiled down to a few UC savarnas, going from mental health rooms to harassing DBA spaces just because they hate someone from the community? Is this not casteist? Going around disrupting minority spaces just because you hold a grudge against someone from the community? Are you any different from the brahmins who would punish a whole community because one of them broke a rule set by the UC savarna? Just because you did one Anti-Brahmin room on clubhouse, doesn't mean you are absolved of your UC Savarna privilege.
But I guess this is expected out of Major Kabir when all I can remember about them is calling minorities tokens and asking people for caste certificates, and then saying it’s a joke.
Context time over.
As we have established before how the Jaans work, with the practical example of Haani Jaan earlier, here we can see Major Kabir trying it on their own with their style and flair. Now the claims against me have been updated to Predator, and Caste denier(?). Then xe proceeds to gaslight me and then tells me to take a few days off.
Since I do not know of doing any of the allegations thrown at me yet again, I just went with what could be the only explanation for such a bold claim. And asked xim the following.
Somewhere in that thread Major Kabir also ended up claiming future trauma for some reason to add to the conversation about how they are casteist. All this did was end up reminding me of the pre-Great Reshuffle era of clubhouse when other people were doing the same on behalf of their partners. It’s just hilarious how they rallied against the old celebrities of clubhouse for the same things they are doing now.
This also happened.
Then xe circle back to claiming that I am lying and they are completely not casteist at all. Because fighting sanghis and doing “nath-utrais” on clubhouse absolves you of your brahmin self.
After a certain point, the whole thread was full of 48 comments, out of which zero was on topic, the only thing Major Kabir showed was denial and their beautiful flair of trying to make things about something it was completely not about just so he could try and get away with their casteist actions.
Eventually, after taking a dump of 50 comments on the post, they decided to gaslight me again and deleted the thread.
Opinionated Outro
I will never forget the day you asked me to show my caste certificate and Gowtham called me a Nepali and asked me to go to other rooms where I could discuss my own “country”. No matter how much you gaslight me and my friends, I will never forget this incident, for you, UC savarnas this might be fun to watch, but you as an upper-caste savarna asking me that, is not right in any context. This is not even covering your closed rooms where you sat and tried to caste-locate a bunch of Dalit activists.
At this point, everyone knows your patterns and how you try to get away from the accountability for your actions, you’d suddenly have a mental health emergency and you’d disappear and disable all your accounts and then you’d just wait for people to calm down enough to ignore your vile self. But I am done with your double standards and the audacity you have to gatekeep everything as if everything wrong that has ever happened in this universe happened to you.
Your friends don’t even seem to support you anymore, you ended up manipulating a bunch of young queers to go fight your battles, and take all the beating on your behalf. Then you go around asking people to not do the same. You harbour accused predators and then go around accusing people of sheltering people you accused of being a predator. You go around harassing minority communities in the name of taking revenge for a personal grudge against someone specific and then say you are not casteist.
You would go and tell half-truths to your friends who belong to the community just so they would fight with each other on your behalf. And then you would still have the audacity to say “me toh casteist oppressor ho hi nahi sakti”.
Eventually, people you use on a daily will realise the evil you spread in the name of “kranti” and they will want to ask you questions. What will you do then? Will you try to gaslight and deny everyone?

Author’s Note: For people looking for more context, I have swapped Clubhouse Historian’s Instagram to a business account, so you would mostly still be able to see the majority of the comments these vile people left there for everyone to see and judge them. I would suggest going reading, it’s very cringe-inducing.
